Handled Stoneware Canning Jar with Quebec, Canada Advertising, Canadian origin, circa 1875, ovoid jar with semi-rounded spout and vertical open handle, the shoulder impressed with the cobalt-highlighted advertising, "AUX VIGNOBLES DE FRANCE / F ROUMILHAC / IMPORTATEUR / DE VINS LIQUERS CONSERVES / 17 & 19 RUE ST JEAN / QUEBEC." A 3/4" vertical worn scratch in clay on reverse. Surface staining. Minor surface wear. H 9".
