Five-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "OTTMAN BROS. & CO. / FORT EDWARD, NY," circa 1875, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, decorated with a large slip-trailed design of a flower with rippled edge, accented with spots. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. A glazed-over spout chip. Staining to surface. H 19 1/2".
