Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Chicken Pecking Corn Decoration, Stamped "BRADY & RYAN / ELLENVILLE. N. Y.," circa 1885, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a chicken pecking kernels of corn from a stylized ground. Excellent condition with a salt drip to proper left handle, residue to rim on front, and some oversalting to rim area. H 11 1/8".
