Rare and Fine Moravian Manganese-Glazed Redware Fish Bottle, Salem, NC origin, circa 1801-1829, molded bottle in the form of a fish with raised, circular eyes and heavily-detailed scales and fins, the animal's mouth forming the vessel's spout. Surface covered in a mottled reddish-brown lead-and-manganese glaze, lesser-seen for this form. Provenance: Al Marzorini Collection; Crocker Farm, Inc., November 10, 2023, lot 27. Very nice condition with wear to spout, minor chipping to tail, and other minor surface wear. L 5 1/4".
