One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD, circa 1825, ovoid jar with footed base, flared collar, and arched tab handles, brush-decorated on the front and reverse with horizontal tulip motifs. Bold cobalt slash decoration below handles and highlights to terminals. A flake to top of rim and small chip to front of rim. A small in-the-firing ping to base. H 10 1/2".
