Scarce Two-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Wreath Decoration, Stamped "F.B. NORTON & CO / WORCESTER, MASS," circa 1858-1877, ovoid pitcher with tooled midsection and tall collar with semi-squared rim molding, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a wreath surrounding the maker's mark. Cobalt accents to maker's mark and capacity mark. A 7 1/4" crack from rim on proper right side of pitcher. A 2" hairline from rim on proper left side of pitcher. Otherwise excellent condition. H 12 7/8".
