Four-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "F.B. NORTON SONS. / WORCESTER MASS.," circa 1858-1877, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a sun-shaped flower blossom, surrounded by spots and flanked by two leafy stem. Cobalt accents to maker's mark and capacity mark. Some fry to cobalt. Spout chips. A base chip. Some fry to cobalt. Staining to surface. H 17 3/4".
