Four-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Flower Basket Decoration, Stamped "F.B. NORTON & CO. / WORCESTER MASS," circa 1858-1877, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a large slip-trailed design of a cross-hatched urn with open handles and footed bae, rimming with a large floral spray accented with dotted trails. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Desirable decoration and size. Surface crazing to base area. A minor spout chip. Light staining to surface. H 17".
