Rare Bristol-Slip-Glazed Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Suitland, MD Advertising, American, late 19th century, ovoid jug with tall spout, the surface covered in a Bristol slip and decorated with the stenciled cobalt advertising, "S.T. SUIT. / SUITLAND. / MARYLAND. / 1869 WHISKEY." The first Suitland jug of this style that we have offered. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 7".
