Rare Three-Gallon Salisbury, MD Stoneware Advertising Jug, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, featuring the impressed and cobalt-highlighted advertising, "S. ULMAN & BRO. / DEALERS IN / GROCERIES LIQUORS & C. /SALISBURG(sic) MD." Exceptional size and unusual misspelling of Salisbury. Spout chips. Salt drips to shoulder. A crack across underside, extending 11 1/2" up reverse. H 14 1/2".
