One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Baltimore, MD Advertising, Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring the stenciled advertising, "JOHN G. MEDINGER / AGENT / BALTIMORE. MD." Stenciled vine motif below. Freehand stripes to shoulder and base. Some wear to cobalt. Otherwise excellent condition. H 10".
