Rare One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Stenciled "C.H. Torsch & Co. / Baltimore, Md.," attributed to A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, WV, circa 1880, ovoid pitcher with flaring collar and tooled rim, featuring C.H. Torsch merchant stenciling between freehand stripes. Additional stripe decoration to collar and along the spout. Chips to spout. A 7/8" flake to interior edge of spout. A small rim chip. A 3" crack on underside, extending 6 1/2" up side of pitcher. H 10".
