One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled collar, brush-decorated with a two-stemmed clover plant ascending the front and swags flanking the spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Cracks in underside and base area, including a spider crack ascending approximately 8" up front of pitcher. A glazed-over base chip. Hairlines to collar. H 12".
