One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Coggled Vine Decoration, attributed to Branch Green, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1820, ovoid jug with heavily-tooled spout, decorated with a coggled and cobalt-highlighted design of a leafy vine around the shoulder. A horizontal crack through handle. A 4" vertical line ascending base. Minor base chips. Minor surface wear. H 12".
