Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, NY State origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jug with tooled shoulder, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird perched on a spot-accented leaf. Very nice condition with some minor surface wear and three small, in-the-firing iron pings, which are glazed over. H 15".
