Redware Plate with Elaborate Yellow Slip Decoration and Copper Highlights, PA origin, possibly Philadelphia, early 19th century, with coggled edge, the lead-glazed interior profusely-decorated with curved, wavy, and straight trails of yellow slip, accented with splashes of copper. Four tight cracks from edge, the longest measuring 3". Light surface wear to interior. Small rim chips on reverse. Diam. 9 1/2".
