Scarce Glazed Redware Plate with Elaborate Coggled and Three-Color Slip Decoration, PA origin, 19th century, the lead-glazed interior decorated with crossing wavy trails of yellow, copper, and manganese slip, further embellished with unusual crossed coggling. A beautifully-decorated example. Heavy chipping to rim. A few minor flakes and typical light wear to interior. Diam. 11 1/4".
