Fine Miniature Copper-Glazed Redware Jug, MA origin, early 19th century, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded spout, the surface covered in a mottled lead-and-copper glaze. Exceptional color and size. Very nice condition. Two small base chips that appear to be in-the-firing tripod marks. A few small nicks to handle. Areas lacking glaze on spout and base area are as-made. An in-the-firing surface fissure to underside of upper handle terminal. H 3 1/2".
