Slip-Decorated Redware Dish, Inscribed "Sarah's Dish," Norwalk, CT origin, second quarter 19th century, with coggled edge, the lead-glazed interior decorated in yellow slip with the inscription, "Sarah's Dish," between two wavy lines. A 9" crack from edge. A few small edge chips, primarily on reverse. Diam. 11 1/4".
