Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Impressed Floral Decoration, probably Josiah Chapman, Troy, NY, early 19th century, ovoid jar footed base, heavily-tooled shoulder, and ribbed lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with a stylized impressed flower blossom. Later blue-painted accents to decoration. Base chips. Otherwise excellent condition. H 10 3/4".
