Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO / GREEN(sic) CO. PA.," circa 1875, tapering jar with tooled shoulder and rounded "wax sealer" rim, featuring diagonal Hamilton & Jones maker's stenciling featuring desirable "GREEN COUNTY" location. Very nice condition with some nicks to shoulder molding, some staining, and faintness to a few letters in "HAMILTON." H 7 7/8".
