Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and recessed "wax sealer" rim, brush-decorated with three stripes. Some spalling to cobalt. Chips to interior of rim. Minor wear to inner rim for lid. H 6 3/8".
