Albany-Slip-Glazed Yale Stoneware Mug, Yale University, 1905, tapering form with Albany-slip-glazed surface featuring sgraffito decoration of a woman's profile flanked by an insignia, a smaller woman's profile, and a mug, along with poetic couplets and slogans. Dated "1905" on reverse shoulder. Underside incised "MAY 1903 / JAG. / YALE. / 1905." Excellent condition with some tiny rim nicks and a 1 5/8" firing line from rim on interior, not visible on exterior. H 5 7/8".
