Three Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Vessels, Northeastern origin, circa 1855-1880, a one-gallon crock marked "J. & E. NORTON / BENNINGTON, VT," with a slip-trailed design of a bird perched on a stump atop a grassy patch of ground; a three-gallon crock marked "F. B. NORTON & CO. / WORCESTER, MASS.," with a large stylized leaf design accented with dots; and a two-gallon jar with stylized slip-trailed motif and slip-trailed "2" on reverse, surrounded by looping decoration. J. & E. Norton crock with sections of restoration to the rim and surface, particularly to the top edge of bird's back and area to the left of same, as well as small handle chips and rim chips. F. B. Norton Crock with extensive restoration to rim and surface, mostly on reverse, stone ping at base on front. Two-gallon jar with fairly-small chips to rim, handles, and base, filled and uncolored 1/2" hole at base. H (of tallest) 12 1/2".
