Three Pottery Vessels, Including Tanware Pitcher and Stoneware Jars, Western Pennsylvania Origin, circa 1875, tanware pitcher, the body Albany-slip-decorated with a sweeping fuschia vine design, the collar decorated with dashes and stripes, New Geneva, PA, origin; one-gallon cobalt-decorated stoneware jar, stenciled "HAMILTON & / JONES. / GREENSBORO. PA"; half-gallon stoneware jar with "wax sealer" rim, decorated with a large stenciled design of a rose. Tanware pitcher with large rim chips and a large meandering crack to lefthand side. Hamilton jar with old painted surface, hairline cracks, and a base chip. Rose jar with minor rim chips, minor firing flaws, and several large base chips. H (of tallest) 10 3/8".
