Fine One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WH FARRAR & Co. / GEDDES, N.Y.," circa 1860, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a large brushed and slip-trailed design of a flowering daisy plant. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Desirable size and strong decoration. Excellent condition with some staining, very minor wear to cobalt, and typical very minor in-the-firing flaws to surface. H 11 3/4".
