Four Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Western PA origin, circa 1875-1880, a canning jar stenciled "ENEIX & FRANKENBERRY / NEW GENEVA / PA;" a small semi-ovoid jar with freehand decoration; a canning jar stenciled "T.F. REPPERT. / MANUFACTURER. / GREENSBORO / PA;" and an ovoid jar stenciled "JAS. HAMILTON & / CO. / GREENSBORO / PA.." All in very good to excellent condition. Eneix and Frankenberry jar with a tiny nick to shoulder molding and faintness to stenciling. Some wear to stenciling on Hamilton jar. Reppert jar with a minor in-the-firing rim chip. H (of tallest) 10 1/8".
