Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Devil Face Jug, Signed and Dated "Ruby Meaders 2000" and "Dwayne Crocker," Ruby Meaders and Dwayne Crocker, GA origin, 2000, ovoid jug with hand-modeled and applied devil face including horns, goatee, pointed ears, and crooked teeth with protruding tongue, the surface covered in an olive-colored alkaline glaze with red glaze to horns and eyes and white glaze to teeth and tongue. "Ruby Meaders / 2000" signature and date incised near base and "Dwayne Crocker" signature incised on underside. A collaborative work between Southern folk potters, Ruby Meaders and Dwayne Crocker.
