Six-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, Stenciled "J.K. MILLIGAN / MC / LUNEY, / Perry Co. O.," OH origin, circa 1885, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, featuring unusual Perry County, Ohio stenciling above a freehand "6." A network of tight lines to right side of crock's front extending to right side of crock. A 1" chip to interior of rim. A very minor 1/2" in-the-firing fissure at base on front. H 14 1/4".
