One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Stenciled Pear Motif, Stenciled "PALATINE POTTERY.CO / PALATINE / W.VA.," circa 1875, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring Palatine Pottery Company maker's stenciling surrounding a stenciled pear. A small chip to interior of rim. Light surface wear. H 9 7/8".
