Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "OTTMAN BRO'S / & CO., / FORT EDWARD . N.Y.," circa 1875, cylindrical jug with flared spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird perched on a stylized branch. Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Two unglazed in-the-firing contact marks to front. Small chips to interior of spout. Some staining. H 15".
