Two Pieces of Stoneware with Cobalt Bird Decorations, Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, late 19th century, a one-and-a-half-gallon jar with chicken pecking corn motif, stamped "FULPER BROS. / FLEMINGTON, N.J.;" paired with a one-gallon cylindrical crock with bird-on-branch motif, attributed to Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ. Larger with two thin cracks descending from rim to shoulder, in-the-firing roughness to surface, some additional in-the-firing glaze flaws to right side, rim chips, a significant, tight spider crack in underside, including one line extending a short distance onto base. Other crock with a crack on reverse descending from shoulder onto underside, across underside, and partway up reverse again, a long thin horizontal crack at base, a minor vertical line at base, a large flake to interior of rim, and base chips.
