One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Freehand Cobalt Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, brush-decorated with two vertical fuchsia motifs between straight and wavy stripes. Discoloration/staining to surface. Otherwise excellent condition. H 10".
