Rare Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar with Double-Sided Martinsburg, WV Advertising, Palatine, WV origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, decorated on the front and reverse with the stenciled advertising, "FRAZER & BISHOP / DEALERS / IN / GENERAL / MERCHANDISE / MARTINSBURG / W VA." Very nice condition with minor surface wear. H 8 1/4".
