Rare Glazed Redware Ring Flask with Elaborate Incised Decoration, probably PA origin, late 18th or early 19th century, rounded form with flattened sides, hollow center, and thin, applied spout, decorated on one side with heavily-incised crosshatching surrounded by incised wavy lines and wreath-like incising. Reverse with incised crosshatching within a rectangle. Surface decorated with splashed manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Spout with a 5/8" loss, a small chip to its interior, and edge wear. Some thin strips of glaze loss to surface of flask. H 5".
