Three Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, 19th century, a one-gallon ovoid jug with brushed design of a cobalt "1" within a wreath, stamped "N. White, Utica," NY State origin, circa 1835; a one-gallon cylindrical crock with brushed and slip-trailed floral decoration with wooden lid, stamped "UNION POTTERY, / NEWARK N.J. / J. ZIPF / Prop'r," circa 1885; and a one-gallon advertising jug with slip-trailed foliate decoration, stamped "BARK & TRE(?)FORD / 921 & 923 BROADWAY / NEW YORK." Union Pottery crock with water glass staining to interior and a rim chip on reverse. White jug with small spout chips, an in-the-firing chip to top of handle, and an in-the-firing iron ping to side of jug. Broadway jug with staining and a minor spout chip. H (of White jug) 11 1/2".
