Rare One-Quart Stoneware Jar with Iron-Oxide Decoration, probably Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1810, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and rounded rim, decorated with dipped iron-oxide decoration under a clear salt glaze. Very nice condition with a small rim chip and some shallow in-the-firing chips to underside at edge. H 5 3/4".
