George Ohr Pottery Vase, Stamped "G.E. OHR / Biloxi, Miss.," late 19th century, ovoid form with footed base, featuring a twisted and heavily-folded rim, one side with a small depression flanked by four large, oval impressions. Surface covered in a clear glaze with heavy iron flecking throughout. Impressed with George Ohr maker's mark on underside. A good example of Ohr's distinctive manipulation of his vessels. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 4 3/8".
