Two Stoneware Pitchers with Cobalt Floral Decoration, probably William Macquoid, Manhattan, NY, circa 1870, both of similar ovoid form with semi-squared rim moldings, brush-decorated with a flower and a leaf joined at the stem. Smaller pitcher with a 2 1/2" Y-shaped surface line, a 1 1/2" surface line, and a 1" surface line, all to reverse/left side of collar. Additionally, a 1/2" crack from rim on reverse, a 2" hairline to left side of spout, a very minor in-the-firing ping to collar, and some staining. Larger pitcher with a tight horizontal crack around base, including small vertical cracks emanating from. The base, however, does not appear to be reglued. Additionally, a 1" hairline to spout and a minor chip to top of rim. H (of smaller) 8 1/4".
