Rare Tanware Vase, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, narrow, semi-ovoid form with flared rim, decorated in Albany slip with an undulating fuchsia vine design around its circumference. Dipped Albany slip to upper body and lower body, forming drape-like patterning below the decoration. Exceptional form. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 8 1/8".
