One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "L. NORTON. & Co.," Bennington, VT, circa 1823-1833, highly-ovoid jug with tooled spout, decorated with a brushed tulip motif. Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Staining and some small in-the-firing contact marks to surface. H 11 1/2".
