Multi-Glazed Redware Tankard Pitcher, attributed to J. Eberly & Co. or S. Bell & Sons, Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, cylindrical form with footed base, tooled shoulder, and flared rim, the lead-glazed surface dipped in cream-colored slip and decorated with splashes of copper and manganese. Rim and spout chips. Base chips, including a 1 1/4" chip to underside along edge. Minor wear to turnings near base. A few small chips to shoulder area. H 10".
