Rare Miniature Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, attributed to Charles Decker's Keystone Pottery, Chucky Valley, TN, circa 1880-1900, ovoid pitcher with wide foot and narrow collar with tooled accents, decorated on each side with a brushed swag motif. Vertical stripe decoration flanking the spout. Stripe decoration to handle and heavy cobalt highlights to terminals. A very tight spider line with wear running around midsection suggests the pitcher may have been broken into two pieces and reglued. A small chip to side of rim. Two hairlines through handle. Shallow in-the-firing chipping to bottom edge. H 4 1/4".
