Stoneware Pan with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry Glazier, Huntingdon, PA, circa 1831-1854, flaring form with tooled midsection, squared rim, and arched tab handles, brush-decorated on the front and reverse with a sweeping floral motif. Inscribed "2 G" under one handle, other vessel appears smaller. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Provenance: Estate of author and historian, Nancy Shedd, Petersburg, PA. Significant cracks and a 5" section at base/underside reattached with a blackish substance. Hole in underside. A base chip. Two base chips and a tiny base nick. H 7 1/4" ; Diam. 9 7/8".
