Shenandoah Valley Multi-Glazed Redware Cream Pitcher, attributed to S. Bell & Sons, Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1890, wide-bodied, ovoid pitcher with footed base and flared collar, the lead-glazed surface decorated with streaks of cream-colored, copper, and manganese slip. Desirable shape. Large rim chip. Two spots of wear to rim and a spot of wear to spout. An in-the-firing contact mark to top of handle. Minor base wear. H 5 1/2".
