Redware Plate with Three-Color-Slip Floral Decoration, attributed to the Diehl Pottery, Rockhill Township, Bucks County, PA, second half 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated in copper, and manganese, and cream-colored slip with a flowering plant bearing spotted pyramidal blossoms. Provenance: From a recently-surfaced CA collection. Excellent condition with a small rim chip, expected minor rim wear, and minor wear to interior. The mottled salmon coloration to the interior is original to the firing of the plate. Diam. 8".
