One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to David Parr, Sr. and James Burland, Baltimore, MD, circa 1815-1821, ovoid pitcher with tapered collar and tolled rim, decorated with a series of slip-trailed flowers around the body. Slip-trailed wavy line decoration to rim. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Restoration to spout and one side of rim. A 5 1/4" x 3 1/2" area of restored hairlines to body of pitcher. The hairlines continue onto the underside of the pitcher, where they are unrestored. A small in-the-firing surface chip to shoulder of pitcher. An in-the-firing surface ping near base. H 10 1/2".
