Six Salt-Glazed Stoneware Bottles, primarily Northeastern U.S., 19th century, one marked "RICE. / PATERSON, N.J." and two marked "W / RICHARD WARREN & CO.," all with brown-slip-dipped tops; one with cobalt-highlighted mark, "SMITH'S / WHIT EROOT / PAT JULY.17.6[?] / ITD&CO / ITD & CO / 1876;" one with cobalt-highlighted mark, "GEO. MADDEN, / KINGSTON, N.Y.;" and an English ink bottle, stamped "J. BOURNE & SON/ DENBY POTTERY / P. &. J. ARNOLD, / LONDON." Chips to top of Rice bottle. Denby bottle with scratch to shoulder and in-the-firing chip to underside. All in otherwise excellent condition, some having minor surface wear. H (of tallest) 11 1/4".
