Two Glazed Redware Pitchers, NY State origin, second or third quarter 19th century, a squat-shaped, ovoid pitcher with tooled midsection and flared collar, its lead-glazed surface featuring bright green-and-red coloration; paired with an ovoid pitcher with tall collar, its lead-glazed surface featuring a cream-brown coloration. Green-and-red-colored pitcher with chips and heavy wear to rim, wear and an in-the-firing ping to handle, and a Y-shaped line to underside. Other pitcher with surface flakes, primarily to base area, a few base chips, a chip to interior of rim, two minor rim chips, and rim wear. H (of each) approx. 7 7/8".
