Three Small-Sized Pieces of Buffalo, NY Advertising Stoneware, NY State origin, 19th century, all with cobalt-highlighted advertising; a highly-ovoid jug, impressed with the cobalt-highlighted advertising, "FROM / LUCIUS H PRATT / WHOLESALE&RETAIL DEALER IN / GROCERIES PAINTS OILS / GLASS & DYE STUFFS. / No 210 MAIN STREET BUFFALO;" a squat-shaped jar, impressed "G. GRIMARD / FRENCH & GERMAN MUSTARD / 356 MAIN ST / BUFFALO N.Y.;" and another squat-shaped jar, impressed "DINGENS BRO / WINES& LIQUORS / [GI]NGER CORDIAL SYRUPS ETC / 77 MAIN ST BUFFALO N[Y]. Jug with handle broken into three pieces and reglued, an in-the-firing chip to same handle, flakes and kiln residue to bottom edge, a small piece of adhered clay to shoulder, a salty contact mark on reverse, and minor traces of old paint. Grimard jar with a few very minor base chips, a short line to collar, as well as two short lines to base area/underside. Dingens jar in essentially as-made condition with a 1 1/4" flake to underside at edge and a minor piece of clay adhered to underside. H (of jug) 7 1/2" ; H (of Dingens jar) 5 3/8".
